🍅 One-Pot Creamy Tomato Basil Tortellini
Ingredients (Serves 3–4):

1 Tbsp olive oil or butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce (or tomato basil pasta sauce)

1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter)

1 package (18–20 oz) cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

½ cup grated parmesan cheese
-
½ cup fresh basil, chopped (or 1 Tbsp dried basil)
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional Garnishes: extra parmesan, more basil, drizzle of olive oil
Instructions:

Sauté Garlic

In a large pot or deep skillet, heat olive oil/butter over medium heat.

Add garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant (don’t let it burn).

Add Sauce & Cream
-
Stir in marinara sauce and heavy cream.

Simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.

Cook Tortellini
-
Add the tortellini directly into the sauce.
-
Stir and cook 5–7 minutes (longer if frozen) until pasta is tender.

If sauce gets too thick, add a splash of water or broth.

Finish with Cheese & Basil

Stir in parmesan and fresh basil.

Add red pepper flakes if using.

Taste and season with salt/pepper.

Serve

Ladle into bowls, top with more parmesan and basil.
