🦐 Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta
Ingredients:

8 oz (about half a box) spaghetti or linguine

1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined

3 Tbsp unsalted butter
-
2 Tbsp olive oil
-
4 garlic cloves, minced
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, adjust to taste)

½ lemon (juice + zest)
-
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
-
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese (optional, but delicious)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions:

Cook Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.

Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Cook Shrimp
-
Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp butter + 2 Tbsp olive oil over medium heat.

Add shrimp in a single layer, cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Make Garlic Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, add remaining 2 Tbsp butter.

Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté about 1 minute (don’t let garlic burn).

Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.

Combine Everything

Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing in the garlic butter sauce.

If pasta looks dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water.

Return shrimp to the skillet, toss to coat.

Finish & Serve
-
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and parmesan.

Serve with extra lemon wedges on the side.
