Cook Time: 10 min
Ingredients:
-
1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter
-
3 garlic cloves, minced
-
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
-
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
-
Salt & pepper, to taste
-
Optional: drizzle of olive oil for serving
Instructions:
-
Prep the shrimp: Pat shrimp dry with a paper towel. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
-
Cook garlic: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Cook shrimp: Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Don’t overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if needed.
-
Add lemon & parsley: Squeeze lemon juice over the shrimp and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Toss gently to coat evenly.
-
Serve: Transfer shrimp to a plate. Optionally drizzle with a little olive oil for shine. Serve with crusty bread, over rice, or pasta.
