🥢 Beef & Broccoli Stir-Fry
Ingredients (Serves 3–4):

1 lb flank steak (or sirloin), thinly sliced against the grain

3 cups broccoli florets

2 Tbsp vegetable oil (divided)

3 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional but recommended)
For the Sauce:

½ cup beef broth (or water)
-
⅓ cup soy sauce
-
2 Tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
-
1 Tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for depth)
-
2 tsp cornstarch + 2 Tbsp water (slurry to thicken)

1 tsp sesame oil
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
Instructions:

Prep Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.

Stir in cornstarch slurry and set aside.

Cook Broccoli

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 Tbsp oil over medium-high.

Add broccoli with a splash of water. Stir-fry 3–4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Remove and set aside.

Cook Beef

Add remaining 1 Tbsp oil to the skillet.

Add sliced beef in a single layer, cook 2–3 minutes until browned but not overcooked.

Stir in garlic and ginger, cook 30 seconds.

Combine & Sauce

Return broccoli to the skillet.

Pour sauce over beef and broccoli, stirring until thickened (1–2 minutes).

Serve

Serve hot over steamed white rice, brown rice, or noodles.
